The history of this wine is relatively recent. 
Its production began in 1993 when the use of Chardonnay in the measure of 15% was permitted by the rules and regulations of Orvieto classico D.O.C. And so a wine came into being that, thanks to the presence of the Chardonnay, fermented and was refined briefly in wooden barrels, where it rested till January.
